Jointed Husky Pikies
3001 Perch
2 common pikies w/thru wire hardware
3002 Red Head/White

This is the military style stencil, used from 1934-50. I am looking for Jointed Husky Pikies with this type of stencil.

This is an early (1931-35) 3008 Rainbow. This is early thin body, non-thru wire hardware (cup style w/simple screw eye), and unimproved lip. I am always looking to add Early Jointed Husky Pikies to my collection.

This is a 'Special' Tarpon rigged 3033 in Black Scale. I am always looking for 'Special' rigged lures or 'Special' colors.

AL&W (Allcock, Laight, & Westwood), of Toronto, Canada, produced Creek Chub lures under license. I am always looking for Jointed Husky Pikies w/boxes made by AL&W.

6" Musky Lure

The Jointed Husky Pikie is a six inch musky lure. The earliest lures had simple cup and screw eye hook hardware. The later version had a more dependable 'thru-wire' hardware. Examples of the two are shown below.
Thru-wire hardware, improved rigging to prevent hooks from pulling out. Also notice the improved re-inforced lip with ribs for added strength.
Simple cup rigged hardware. Over time, these hooks would eventually pull out.

A special thanks to Todd Grimes for supplying these pictures.
